This means riding off on your new NIU electric moped could cost you as little as £27 per month which is half the price of a monthly bus pass! The electric vehicle loan is funded by Transport Scotland and NIU are delighted to be one of the few eligible electric moped brands to be part of the scheme.
Edinburgh has always been at the forefront of creating a net-zero emissions Scotland, and was recently nominated the “greenest” city in the UK. Due to Edinburgh’s traffic congestion problems, there is a huge drive locally, and also at Scottish government level to promote the sales of low emissions vehicles.
So what does this mean for you?
This means if you are a Scottish resident you have access to the electric vehicle loan scheme. You can take a completely interest free loan from the Scottish government and pay at back over an affordable period up to 6 years.
